Walking on the sea shore my family and me, All holding hands just as happy as can be, We looked across the bay and what did we see, A mermaid and a dolphin drinking cups of tea.
Walking down the High Street my family and I, Watching all the traffic as it was passing by, We came to the park and what should we spy, A boy dressed as Superman flying in the sky,
Walking with my family all around the town, In and out the shops, the High Street up and down, As we came into the market, we heard a strange sound, It was a dog playing a fiddle, in his dressing gown.
Walking in the country this time on my own, All the things we've seen' I never see when I'm alone, To speak to my family I would have to use a phone, To avoid these strange happenings, l left them all at home.

I can see this in an illustrated book of your poetry, particularly the dolphin and mermaid drinking cups of tea and the dog and his fiddle.
Always take the family with you, it's much more fun!

Quite a rhyming tour de force, rather rare in this prosey era. Well done
